Vintage Whiting & Davis Alumesh hand bag.
The outside body of the bag is eggshell colored flexible metal mesh (Alumesh), the lining inside is dark blue fabric and has a slip pocket sewn in.
The chunky ivory tone celluloid kiss clasp closure with matching hinged frame and linked chain handle are all in great condition.
This Art Deco clutch bag measures approximately 9” across the bottom, 8” high (including the clasps), and the strap is 6 1/2” from the top of the bag.
This unique purse is in great condition, has no missing or broken parts. There are a few discolored beads on one side and a white stain on the lining.
