Original WWII 10th Armored Division Special Orders - 1945 Swiss Leave
Description:
This is a rare, original piece of military history. These are the Special Orders for Pfc. Andrew Kereczman of the 10th Armored Division, dated August 1945.
The document details a 7-day furlough to Basel, Switzerland, issued just months after V-E Day. The back of the document features an authentic purple "Schweizerische Grenzkontrolle" (Swiss Border Control) stamp, proving the soldier’s entry and exit from the country.
Condition: Like new for its age. The paper is crisp with clear type and minimal wear.
Historical Significance: Items belonging to the 10th Armored (Tiger) Division are highly sought after. This specific document provides excellent provenance and a personal look at a soldier's life during the occupation period.
